Youth Initiative - "Give a Smile, Give a Heart"

Hearts were raised by young people on Freedom Square /on the deers/ in Smolyan on February 14, Friday at 3:00 p.m. “Give a smile, give a heart” was the appeal of an initiative organized by the “Youth Center – Smolyan”. It became the catalyst for lively discussions “for” and “against” the holiday of love, revered around the world as St. Valentine.
The topic of the heart was sparked by lively debates between adolescents, educators, municipal employees, youth workers, social workers and other specialists. And the unique creative workshop for making symbols of love was the Youth Space of YIYD. It readily responded to the Youth Center’s campaign. Over 200 surprises were made and distributed by graduates of the Vocational High School of Tourism, the Vocational High School of Engineering and Technology, the Language High School, etc.
The campaign to make the holiday props was under the expert guidance of the center’s youth workers. And the art studio of the teacher from the PGI Emilia Aldomirova was an active assistant. The materials were provided by the Local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles. And the students Medina Sirakova and Teodora Yankovska assisted everyone who wanted to take a personal photo in front of a huge heart. Each gift carried an invitation to the Open Day of the MC on February 18, Tuesday, from 10:00 to 16:00
