Presentation of the Youth Center - Smolyan at the Student Council of the UP meeting

Representatives of the Student Council of Plovdiv University at a meeting with their colleagues from the Faculty of Physics and Technology - Smolyan Base

On March 27, 2025, students from the Student Council of Plovdiv University "Paisiy Hilendarski" visited the academic base of the Faculty of Physics and Technology in Smolyan. The initiative aimed to strengthen ties between students from different units of the university and to encourage the exchange of ideas related to the educational process and student life.

During the meeting, the Smolyan graduates shared their personal experience and impressions of their studies and extracurricular activities. They presented the material base available to the faculty, with emphasis on the latest improvements and the need for modernization of technical equipment.

The event took place in a spirit of open dialogue, in which lecturers - heads of departments from the Smolyan Base also participated, as well as the deputy dean of the faculty, Prof. Slavi Lyubomirov. Representatives of the Youth Center Smolyan were also present, expressing their readiness for future joint initiatives.

The Chairman of the Student Council, Dimitar Stoyanov, led the discussions, which addressed academic issues, as well as opportunities for expanding the cultural and social activity of students. All participants emphasized the importance of student events for building a strong and united university community.

The meeting marked the beginning of closer cooperation between students from Plovdiv and Smolyan, with both sides expressing interest in organizing subsequent joint projects and initiatives.
